You'll only be able to hear it on playback if your synth is connected. It sounds as if you only recorded MIDI on the synth and didn't route any audio cables from it...is this right?

try to slave your synth to cakewalk and record the audio that comes out of the synth onto an audio channel on Cakewalk. Unless it gets deeper than that, this should work.

To export MIDI as a wave you first have to convet it to audio.

Refer to pages 78-79 in your Sonar manual.

Marn,
I have the same card and I can hear the midi sounds of that card during play back. Are you sure that the MIDI information was recieved? Could you explain how you are setting up...... and then I can give you a better idea of where to start. I would however check the MIDI in and out to be sure that it is configured correctly........ in the tool bar of Sonar, select options...MIDI devices the input/ output box will appear ..... make sure the proper choices are selected. In my case it's MIDI I/O 2 for both.
:D

Unless it gets deeper than that,"... how i wan to do this?... 2nd It sounds as if you only recorded MIDI on the synth and didn't route any audio cables from it..what kind of audio cables ur talking about..and how can i route it...for ur info i wan to export all the track into one songs(Guitar, bass,Vocal as a WAV & Drum as a MIDI) then when i playback in Windows Media player the MIDI(Drums)..its gone..only the wave track can be heard.. ..i dunno u can understand or not bout my probs..so the conclusion for all of my probs is..may i join WAV n MIDI in one song?so..thats all for now...i'd really appreciate ur helps n thank u so much...
