Plextor seems to be the most common brand (the Roland brand burners were mostly Plextor with a lot of extra plastic on them). Make sure you have a current operating system on your 1880 as the newer drives will not work with OS1.00. A guy on eBay sells them and has a chart regarding current OS. You can download and install the new OS from the Roland site.
