External Fx in Pt Mpowered 8 Lexicon MX200 SPDIF

Ok I'm bored - so I rearrange everything and think "why don't I hook up the Lexicon MX200 to my Mpowered ProjectMix I/O via the SPDIF in and out?" why not indeed....
I've been at it all afternoon thats why!!

Mx 200 - Projectmix IO -via SPDIF in and out
Dry sample vocal track sent to SPDIF (stereo)
Aux chanel set input from SPDIF and viola! nothing

The signal is registering at the MX 200 and if I connect analogue cables the effected signal is working fine but no return from the digital...
Ive checked the MAUDIO control panel and all is well
My routing seems fine but just cant get the signal back...

It was no big deal when i started but now that i'm in it I can't get out!
HELP!

I'm gonna hang my head in shame - but thought I should post incase anyone was looking for the answer for me...

DIGITAL INPUTS MUTED!!!! 4 hours of my life!!! Ya B^&%$£&

Anyhoo it works and sounds great btw guess I wont do that again. :{

I'm having some problems with hooking his thing up too.

I'm going to try what you have posted cause is seems easy enough.
