Extension to program a recording on a Revox ?

Hi,

Since those Revox (A77, B77, PR99) have a plug for a remote control, I wondered if anybody designed a clock which could trigger a recording just like on a VCR for example. Sometimes I miss live classical concerts because I'm at work and can't be at home to start it manually.
This extension can't be that hard to make, it's just a programmable clock with a relay simulating a keypress on the remote control. The pinouts are available in the service manual (which I have).
Any ideas ?

I have a Teac made timer unit for my 6300. It seems to basically be a remote control that automatically punches the machine into play or record when the machine is powered on, say, by a standard mechanical timer.
It would seem to be fairly simple to make a plug or jumper that would emulate the remote "record" switch closure, then plug the revox into a timer.
