I like the guy in the band from the Muppet show, he could really lay down the fatbottom '70's style. Lefty too, like all the Muppet guitar/bass/banjo players...why the preponderance of lefties? A mystery.
Seriously 1. Bootsy on monday
2. Larry Graham on tuesday
3. Bootsy on wednesday
4. Larry Graham, thursday
5. Friday, you guessed it ...Bootsy
on the weekend they can invite Flea over to wash their cars.

John Entwhistle

Only one person said Jaco! Buy any Weather Report album and tell me he isn't goddamn incredible! You see AlCheck knows his stuff. But besides Jaco, I would have to say Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, and Flea. No matter how good the other ones were, I don't listen to them.

yeah but jrlemonz the question was "Who are your 5 favourite bassists?" not "Who are the 5 greatest or most innovative or most technically proficient?"

So I dont think its that surprising that Jaco only made it onto one list.

(1)Paul McCartney
(2)Larry Taylor (Canned Heat..nicknamed "The Mole")
(3)Andy Fraser (Free)
(4)John Entwistle
(5)Gosh........can I do about 10 more?
