Good stuff RAMSTER!

I haven't had my full caffeine fix yet, but I love that yelling out in the background!! :) :) ....Bring the volume up on that backing vocal!!

The guitars are sounding good to my ears!
The drums sound a little nasally, very flat!!...I know you will re-work them!

The bass is a tad boomy, maybe loose some lows:eg 50-80hz by a few db's.

Good stuff RAMI!!.... :)
 
Dude I've been listening to this... sounds tight. What I really like about this is that it seems to have some straight up old school rock energy. Pretty rock out and cool vox on top of that rocking out.
Maybe a bit more volume on the vox.
Like the claps and what sounds like tambourine.
Maybe a little touch of EQ raise on the snare and drop in midrange on the bass.
Love the claps btw.
Cool song man, dug this, sounds a little different than your usual stuff, but that's what's great about it ;) :D

Hehe, I thought Rami was going for a beatles feel here and I almost said, "old school rock.. reminds me of the beatles" :D You tricked me :p

I still say bring up the vox 10000dB or a lot less
 
Rami - excellent tune - very 70's sounding funk... a little like Edgar Winter....

Guitars - very well arranged. You have both rhythms and leads driving it along. Nice tones in the guitars.

Bass drum is just kicking but good volume - pumping the speakers.

When you hold back on the bass and then bring it back in - it's very dramatic, dynamic effect.

Cool hollering in the background.

The only thing that isn't working for me is the "Come On's" - the fast ones - because they are out of sync with the beat and tend to distract me a bit.

Nice punchy bass - super definition, kudos on that tone....

It sounds like your vocals are a whole step (or two) higher, compared to your previous tunes. Lots of vocal strength too. This key is a very good sound for you vocally - very nice.

Are you using your new pre on a lot of your tracks now? I've got no problems with the mix. This sounds very smooth overall. Clean, slightly compressed but still very punchy......

And I have lots to hide - my inside is out.....and my outside is in.....

Edit - a Beatles tune - man not familiar with it - got me !

PS - Smileys not working worth a damn tonight....

Thanx alot Ido...Don't want to blame it on John Lennon, but those "Come on's" are off time on the original too. Besides slightly changing the intro, it's pretty true to the original. Not in sound quality, that's something I have to keep working on. But the arrangement is prett much the same. Oh yeah, I added a verse too, becaue the Beatles version is barely 3 minutes long.

You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for not knowing a song off the White Album. :) :D

I didn't know Metallica had a "White" album,...I know they had a "Black" album!!.. :p

Who are these "Beatles" you mention??....... :D :D

Naw, just kidding... this actually isn't the first time you people have tricked me with your posting covers and not saying it till later... for some reason even though I've heard the original i just end up thinking "sounds familiar, but coooool!" I am ashamed of myself once again, but cheers, good cover! :D
 
Hehe...I wasn't trying to fool anyone. I just assume EVERYONE knows EVERY Beatles song.

They were this group that Paul McCartney was in just before Wings. Had a few hits. Kind of dated and out of style now...:D :D :D :D

Okay, since RAMI has backed me into a corner with his macho head games, I'll addmit that in general I don't usually listen to lyrics. Just the melodies and sounds of them, so I'm easy to trick :D :p btw THERE WAS NO PRE-WINGS MCCARTNEY BAND (more RAMI macho head games :rolleyes: ) :)
 
I have to admit that I was raised on AM pop radio and since this tune was not top ten (I don't think) I guess I missed it. Never needed to buy many of the Beatles albums cause they were always on the radio (although I own a few now).

I still think it's a good tune except for the Come On's (sorry John/Paul or Yoko?) and you did a great job on it.

Maybe we should all delete these threads and see how many more people don't know? :D :D :D :D :D :D
 
Vocals are the Shiznitt man!!!!! That does not sound like what I thought it would.....What did you do different? They have a great, vintage vibe man....throwback to the 70's...fit the tune well. They sound different then what you've done in the past....Secrets man.....

Song is killer. I'd like the guitars to be a bit more IN YOUR FACE...but I like guitars. :D No real nits from me man....Polishing will only make it better. Killer tune bud.... :cool:

BTW...70's song played on your player, and I had to stop it and click on this. Don't know if that's fixable, or not.

Thanx Dogman....Yeah, my site sometimes screws up on the song order. 90% of the time it plays the right tune, but sometimes it plays whatever tune it feels like playing. Please tell me you know this tune....please!!!

For the vocals, all I did was scream them out because they were almost out of my range, and then I sang them again.

if you don't mind sharing.
how many tracks, whats the guitar setup, mic chain, drums?
..engineer stuff, track sheet notes?

frkn great recording imo, anyway.
