Just wondering if anyone's heard of Swan Diva M200 monitors?
I've head wonderful things about these micro monitors (small, under $200, good balance) but can't seem to find first-hand experience or even where to buy them. I tried a google search for sellers and came up with nothing although I did find one in-depth (9-page) review that raved about them.

Thanks for any input,

J.

Actually, Alf, that's the one I read and felt like running out to buy a pair. Thanks.

I have a 5.1 surround Home setup w/ the Divas... I could write pages about how incredible these speakers are. I've been a Avid music listener for... well lets just say many years... and after getting these speakers w/ a Denon reciever, I'm hearing albums (CDs) in a new light that I've heard 100s of times. Basically they're F*cking awesome!

As far as the M200 monitors... It's somewhat a long story but the Co. selling the Divas had to stop selling them for legal reasons, and started making their own speakers using the same manufacturer. They're called Rockets. Basically they look exactly the same but the Divas had a Top Mounted tweeter. Very beautifull speakers, more so than the pictures http://www.av123.com/ They say the Rockets are more forward sounding and the Divas a little laid back.

So back to your question... I'm not sure how these would perform for studio monitors, but I believe you could still find them. Just post a question at the AVS Forums and I'm sure someone will help you. On this thread particularly there is a Ton of info on Divas. Search it for the m200.

Also, I think his name was Sean, but these guys were soooo cool, and helpfull. They could answer some questions I'm sure. They may also have some old stock to sell you.

I'm curious what you come up with...

Good Luck,

Very very helpful, Booda. Thanks! I'll let you know what I find, eventually, after I research these a bit more.
