event 20/20 connectors

This is from the Event site: "Connectors: Red and black five-way binding posts on 3/4" centers"

Anyone with a pair of 20/20's want to tell me what sort of connectors these are?

What is 'five-way'?

When they say 'red and black binding posts' do they mean those posts where you plug in the raw wire without a 'plug' (like the connections on regular home stereo speakers) ?

I don't know what they mean by 5 way, but anyway.

You can connect bare speaker wire by putting it through the hole in the post, and then tighting it down - picture a nut and bolt, with a hole in the bolt, and the nut tightens down. little different than most home speakers I've seen, except paradigms I suppose.

Or, you can but bannna plugs on the speaker wire, and plug the banna plug into the binding post.
