EV Cobalt CO4 sound clip

This is my first recorded clip with the Motu 828MKII. We recorded this clip with an Orange AD140TC for both the clean and distorted tracks. We used Agile guitars, Orange 4x12, EV Cobalt 4 mic, , Presonus mic pre. and Cubase SX. I was really supprised how natural the cheap EV mic recorded the guitar tone. Overall I like the sound of the EV better then the SM57. To me it sounded natrual and less muddy then the shure. Not bad for a $40 mic.
