Put your wallet away. Whatever you buy now you'll probably regret sooner then later.

Start here and continue asking questions. You'll get a lot of dumb responses that you won't be able to tell from smart responses until you do a lot more reading.

If you just want to get started recording something... anything... to your computer and you don't want to wake up furious that you wasted your money purchase the absolute bare minimum.

Luck.

1) Stepping in after I offer advice to say "Don't take advice" is insulting.
2) If you like the forum then why are you both telling others to ignore it.
3) If you see bad advice, challenge it. If you have good advice, offer it but do not paint us all with such broad strokes.
4) Pleased to meet you.

It was not my intention to insult you.

my first was a '65 150 sport...which was a Vespa built under license by Douglas aircraft builders in the UK, my last was a '96 PX200e...

I'm getting a hardon.

Oh and I dont know how you do it with the cagers in the US...f*ck they are bad drivers!

I always knew Americans were shitty drivers, but I really had no idea until I started riding scooters. Oklahoma is especially bad. They're actively hostile to scooters here. This town was founded by oil barons and deliberately designed to be a gas-wasting 420 square mile suburban sprawl from the get-go. There are very few sidewalks here, and the bus system is a complete joke. An Okie's identity is completely determined by the kind of car he drives. It's open season on pedestrians and scooterists. Fortunately I can think and react faster than these 90 IQ having morons.

Good post, Grimtraveller.
Got you, Dan.
Thanks for clearing that up.
Just had to make the point though.
