I'm thinking next year will be the year for equipment upgrades so I expect to be broke during most of it for that reason LOL.
Here's what I'm going to upgrade to (since I want to beef up the hardware route and blend it in with software)
I'll add an MPC 1000, Triton rack, Fantom rack, Korg D1600, an additional M-Audio midi controller (I want to go USB completely and stay off the game port...it's about ancient these days), monitors, a new rackmount preamp, rackmount effects processor, rackmount eq, and a couple of additional mics.
Luckily, I should make enough at my new job to where I can take care of my bills and all that and upgrade a little bit at a time. I'll probably get the bigger stuff (Triton, Fantom, MPC) when I get school pell grant checks...heh it's good to be in school.
Anybody else have any recent or planned upgrades? I'm just curious.

But, I do wanna get some acoustic foam/room treatment material..ive been putting that off for too long -- though have debated just recording vocals in the bathroom (cant front on that "tub" reverb, lol). Maybe a portable drum machine also, for putting down ideas on the train...or the couch (sometimes I just dont feel like sitting at the keyboard!). Ive used the Boss DR-5 before...its tight
