equipment & condensation

hello, recently bought a new controller keyboard and found that there was quite a bit of condensation on the aluminium chassis after opening the box, how long should i wait to turn the thing on? is there anything i can do yo hurry along dehumidifying the unit? eg place it next to a radiator with the window open.

I'd wait about twice as long as it takes for the outside to dry... but I bet you powered it up already with no issues... It is new
