How's come it is that PR-100s tend to be called/sold as Texans, even though a Texan has parrallelagram fingerboard inlays, instead of dots? Also, the PR-100 has a Gibson neck and truss rod cover. I'm about to buy an Epiphone PR-100 from a private seller, to replace one that I'd owned from 1992 - 1998 (got stolen in 1998), and was noticing that "Texan" is used quite a bit to describe the PR-100, so what gives? Not that it's going to keep me from buying the PR-100, but I'm just curious.
