epiphone sg junior neck problem

just picked this up from ebay. epiphone sg junior (single p-90). i wanted a cheap rocker guitar and that's what i got. it's got some balls and will probably have more with a good p-90 from fralin. it's got some neck issues though. the action is too high (i like it high but not this high) but the bridge is almost all the way down. the neck seems to have just a little curve, which seems right to me. it seems like the neck is slightly tilted back but there's no tilt adjustment. it also looks like it has one slightly crooked hammered fret. it's tilted just a bit. any advice? i know this is a cheap guitar but aside from the couple of playability issues, i love the sound of this thing and the intonation is pretty decent. it's a rocker.

one more thing. i don't know of a decent guitar tech in my area. i just moved back to this area about six months ago after being gone for four years. maybe something has changed but i doubt it. from what i remember, the only so called tech's around here were guy's that could'nt hack a regular job and knew how to change guitar strings so they called them selves "guitar tech's". sorry to be so negative but even after four years i still dread taking my guitars to a local tech.

Do it, then smash the SG over it to avoid the frustration of trying to make it right. :)

That just may be the way that this affair ends my friend.
