THe rework of the Devil's Adv. is an improvement.
Enemy In Bed - the riff guitar is a little dull sounding - makes sense when the other guitar is added but not before. Needs some tops & mids.
Ditto the crazy solo with the heys over it.
Fewer ideas so it works much more tidily as a song.

Cool song & great performance!
The first guitar sound is needs to be brightened up some for my taste. tthe same sound repeats later in the song.
The second guit sound is very nice too me.
The vocals at the begining seem buried to me seems like they could use some bite too. Eq might be all that's needed to bring them up in the mix. I don't know why but I think some harsh 2.5 to 3k might be the ticket rather than the normal 4 to 6k presence boost. Just have to dink around IMO.
Vocals seem to get better later.
Just seems like there a few tracks lacking that sheen conspiring to dull up the song in sections the begining being an example. when the song goes in and out of those spots it feels like a pretty decent volume change, but I'd say it's perceived (spelling?) due to eqing.
Very cool tune! just needs a little work and then I will be fully jealous yet again

Devils Advocate is sounding awsome. The break is super clean at high volumes now and nothing sounds chopped or gated going in Very nice!

I've a couple of tracks on the go. One, Gimli's Lament (Vox) {see my1st link} is waiting on a taped recording of the vocal & flute. The current draft has MP3 emailed cuts for those two so I can't actually tweak it. The singer is sending me the new takes on tape soon I hope.
Also have a new track in the very beginning stages. I'm having probs with it as I don't have acces to a drummer & my drum machine (TR505) can't cut it with the track as it changes rhythm mid measure. I've been trying to avoid midi drums etc. may have to give in though.

In terms of the songs I've shown, I had a chance to have a good and long time to think about the direction of where the project is going.
So I'm leaving Enemy in Bed up which I think will make the final cut. I'm actually going to rearrange parts of that song as well.
That's more the direction I want to have. Almost back to a basic punk, 3 chord root thing. I'm taking everything else back to the drawing board, so when I pop up in here again with new tunes in mid spring, I hope to have something that sticks.
I'm sure the guys will understand, well they are going to have to...considering that I'm orchestrating the whole thing. I co-write, produce, engineer...they play it out
