Sorry to get nostalgic and all, but seeing that the year 2000 is just about over, I had this song on my mind and it just wouldn't go away.
The song is called "Wait"... and it was originally posted back in April of this year by the writer/performer, known as "MrLip".
This is such a great song that I thought some of you newer guys might like to hear it. It's a fine example of what a talented performer can do with modest equipment.

I just read this after posting a new thread, and guess what, I JUST DELETED 'WAIT' FROM GEOCITIES ABOUT 10 MINUTES AGO. Oh man, if only I'd read this post first.

It's really great to know that something I've put so much time and effort into has paid off. Responses like this make me feel like it's all worth it.

No problemo, MrLip... it's an EXCELLENT song, and worthy of FM airplay. The genuine emotion in "Wait" is powerful and undeniable.
Good songs come and go... GREAT songs stay with you forever! :)

That's a strange coincidence that you deleted it 10 minutes before reading this post. Especially after 8 months!!
I hope you put it back there... and maybe some new material, perhaps??
