Well I am like on the verge of purchasing an Emu 1820... But there is one thing that concerns me.
My previous DAW (the one I use now) is a piece of garbage. Its a Tascam US-428. I've had it for a while, and have not used it for a long time. Basically why I stopped using it was one main reason....I wasn't able to record more than one channel at once (i.e. Vocals and Guitar). Also I just didn't like the overall sound quality and MIDI latency probs it had too.
My question to you Emu 1820 users is: Does the 1820 have issues with recording more than one channel at the same time? And I have heard sound samples of the 1820 in action (quite impressed), but what about MIDI latency? Is this a big problem? Cause I would like to use MIDI for soft synths and my keyboard.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
