Funny, I had to go back and listen, maybe it is not an accent, but in the the spoken parts... I suppose it is more the phrasing and accentuation. It gives me kind of a Nordic vibe. And then you got the nice rolled R in there keeping it interesting
How did you get the snare up? Did you drop in samples?

What did you use for drum samples? EZ Drummer? Superior? I use EZ Drummer and others depending on what the song is.
I have to try the Steven Slate stuff - the snare you used was great - it had impact and a quality to the tone that really worked.Mostly SS Trigger Platinum samples. Also in there as support there is a sample from 'Poor Some Sugar On Me' that I made once for another project.
