Eminem's vocal effects and stuff...

Evening.. Morning now actually.
I was listening to Eminem earlier (guilty.) and the interesting doubling/dubbing used on his vocals.
So i thought I'd have a crack.. And I'm generally pretty crap at this to be honest.
But going for that thing.. Am I even close?
I'm extremely tired by the way and this could be one of those times I listen to this tomorrow and think... "oh god."
Anyway..

Yes, I'd say you are pretty close actually. I am not a fan by any means, but I've certainly heard his stuff here and there. In terms of the doubling sort of effect and even the delivery at times, I think you do get close here. Too bad it gets cut at the end...

you're quite the vocal talent, not sure i prefer this, or even like it, compared to your straight singing, but worth an experiment..

I think I prefer the end part when your less eminem and your english accent comes through more

maybe try to involve some straight singing in a chorus part(s)...you know like its been lifted from another song..it may give it more balance???

I have a friend in mind to sing the chorus on it, if i decide to finish it. Its cool because I haven't actually used any doubling effects, its 4 takes done differently i tried to blend using panning and levels. Was fun
