...wouldn't it just be easier to ignore the threads designed to "antagonize", and let them die a quick death...why do so many members get sucked in, only to perpetuate the nonsense and give satisfaction to the antagonizer...just restrain from replying and put the poster on your "ignore" list...just my $.02...

One of the reasons that any busy forums site remains busy is the "personality" content. It's just how it is. There was a time in the history of the 'net that the busiest recording forum was the recording forum at Harmony Central. It's gets only a fraction of its former traffic. Their traffic went down as soon as they appointed a mod who actually did his job.

If you want substantive content with a very low BS level, then go over to the forums at 3D Audio Inc. (my favorite) or the forums at Mojo Pie (I own them).

I think that the BS content is part of what makes Home Recording dot com fun. It's one of the reasons I enjoy coming here.

But I dont have time for the BS......so my ignore list gets a lot of action. It's the best way. I just used it a few minutes ago in fact.....
