Hi
Does anyone know if it is possible to connect the Eleven rack to the Digirack 003+. The problem is when I connect the Eleven Rack via an USB connexion to the PC and I have the digirack 003 connected via a Firewire I then have 2 interfaces and that gives me problem in Protools.
Does anyone how to set this up correctly.
Hope somebody can help me.

Best regards

turn off the 003 when you want to use the eleven. and turn off the eleven when you want to use the 003. Then start Pro Tools.

As simple as that.
Thank you very much. Just tried it, and it works.

That's nice for the basics, but some of us would like both operational at once. Not very helpful for that.

One would like to think a company that makes products as sophisticated as Avid does would have an integration plan to make units work together conveniently. I'm getting the impression that's not the case, though.

You can, of course, use the Digi rack for your recording interface and just hook l/r outputs of the Eleven Rack to inputs on the Digi rack, but I think that creates some limitations in the power/flexibility you would otherwise have in the 11R. For example, you'd need 3 outputs if you wanted to record a dry mono and wet stereo signal at the same time.

I've seen comments that indicate there may be an article on Avid's site that say you can use the SPDIF outputs of the 11R and also hook it to USB. I haven't found the page yet, but there's hope that they will play nice together.
