I'm a drummer and have been playing around with my own recording on my apple for a while now. I have been really impressed with Apples Garageband and find it excellent for recording guitars, keyboards and vocals. However, as I get more into it, the more I want to record live drums rather than using drum loops.
I cant use a conventional kit as i dont have the space for one or all the mics i'll need to record it. I've had a look at Rolands TD3KV electorninic Kit and really enjoyed playing it. My question is, is there any way I can hook this up to my computer and use it as a MIDI trigger? I've heard from others that GB only lets you trigger one note at a time, which obviously wont work for me as I want to play live. Is there another programme I can use to solve this problem? Any suggestions would very welcome!! I'm so fed up with those bloody loops!!!!
