Eko Silvertone violin bass?

Someone I'm chatting with, on Palace chat, has an old violin bass that a friend gave her. After showing a picture of the only name that shows on it, it seems to be a Silvertone, but with the script broken off just ahead of the e...thus it says "ertone." From what I've been able to find, using google searches, it appears to be an Eko violin bass. Did Eko ever produce violin basses that were Silvertone branded?

I'll give her the link to this forum, and if she decides to join, maybe she can post her pics.

hey this is the person he was talking about. i will gladly post the pics or send them via email or aim or yahoo whatever but to post them on here, i need a webpage to host them. does anyone know of a free domain that i can get to host my pix? it would be greatly apreciated and then you would also be able to see my beautiful bass lol. feel free to IM/PM/email me with any questions or suggestions or whatever. thanks guys
