Effects through Korg AX1000G

I like my Korg AX1000G for the speaker options and the amp modeling.
But, there are times I can't stand the other effects. Can I use a Rat distortion pedal or other effect boxs straight into the Korg??? In other words, can I plug my guitar into a Rat pedal and plug the pedal into the Korg?

there should be no problem plugging any effect box into the Ax1000G as long as you make sure the output of the fx box does not overload the ax1000g (Unless you want it to!!)
