Effects Question

I have a mixer with built in effects, everytime i record with it, there is no effect. please help thanks. the mixer im using is a yamaha mw12cx thanks alot.

Without looking at the specs, I would assume that the f/x only affect the main outputs (and possibly the monitor outputs, if it has them) but not the USB output.

I have the non-USB version. Do you know how to actually get the effects to work? ie. plugging it into monitors etc. are you getting the effects there?

Also, really, it's a live mixer... the effects are useful for a bit of reverb or echo on a voice in a live situation... wouldn't bother with them for recording seeing your DAW will probably have better inbuilt options...

yeah you want to record your vocals dry - add effects in the DAW so you can control them
