You guys obviously don't know the Sony DPS-V55M, otherwise you wouldn't be recommending a Lex MPX110 or a TC M300....

Thank me afterwards... just look on Ebay... they go for $200-300 and sound like a $1000-1500 reverb...
Or you had to find a TC M2000 for less than $500, then fo THAT way...

I happen to like TC electronics M300, but it's $250.

The price on many websites (and at Guitar Center) is down to $200. www.8thstreet.com for instance

I've been thinking about buying one but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I am starting to re-think this idea now. The POD sounds pretty good for some things, but it is LOUD. No matter what I do with it, there is a very noticable hum, and it sounds like ass.

I figured it was just that the amp models were noisy, but even with no cab model, it still hums. Anybody know how I can get it to quiet down? If not, I will have to go back to thinking about another processor.

Actually .. F*CK the LEXICON!!! I've had this thing for a short time and even though the effects sounded great, I've noticed that "headroom", as in it goes to the red too soon, is very limited. Hell, my Alesis nanoverb was better in this regard! I took the unit back. I think I'll stick to my nanoverb until I find something better in this price range. Not to say my little nano isn't good, actually it has surprisingly great reverbs, and it's cheap too! :D

it's a little more but it's worth it

the boss gt-6 is your dream come true i promise!! it $400 but, it has all the effects you could want, nice pre-amp mod, dist., amp mod,eq,blah blah. its ment mainly for guitar but can be used for bass (although there is a seperate one for bass), synth, and even vocals! (although it would NEVER pass as pro vocals it'll make even a cheep radioshack mic sound 100xS better) save your money it's worth it!!
