Anyhow, the same ears, which you think are shitty even though they liked your C1, B1 and VTB1, really like this TFpro Edward the Compressor. It's in a different category in terms of build quality and sound quality than your products which I've reviewed. However, it also costs a hell of a lot more so it better be on a higher level.

including your website, and presence on various BBS's. Please understand that my comments
were in no way intended to slight that, or your abilities. Out of respect for that and Tubedude,
will cool my jets on the "Ted Fletcher" stuff.

If you insist on using those words, then you go right ahead. I will not stop you. What you are not is a design engineer, and as far as terms of quality of build, you are no where near qualified to make any of the comments you just made as they are based on having no knowledge of design and or how to lay out a product to build. So be sure to say that you are offering an opinion of what you know nothing about when you make these claims.
When George Schilling makes those claims in his review, you should know he is qualified, which is why he is who he is. Of course you can surprise all of us by showing us your EE degree and some products you have designed and built.

Width and transient release features? It doesn't really say much about it on that website... please tell more. Thanksozraves said:I've got a TFpro Edward the Compressor here. It is definitely a very good piece of gear. The cool parts are the width and transient release features.

I agree, and I wish them both the best... lawsuits get old.ozraves said:I wish Alan the best of luck with his endeavors. I think this dispute between him and Ted Fletcher is much better left to private communication between the parties.

tubedude said:Damn, now we even have Geoff Tanner running around here. Too cool. Welcome!
Question for all the guys that know... what would it take to get out a good single channel optical compressor with good circuitry (in other words, properly made) for around $500?
Its getting where I cant afford all this good shit anymore, and I'm wondering why no one but meek seems to be interested in that market.
