For all you NYC residents who've responded to my previous posts, it's me again, the New York-bound Sir_Matthew.
So I'm getting ready to mix these tracks down to DAT before I depart, since I have access to my friend's DAT player down here in Tejas.
Once that's done, I need to get them digitally edited/sequenced and mastered to prepare them for duplication. Prices down here for that are at $65 an hour, and I'm curious as to the price a reputable studio (perhaps one of yours) would give for that in NYC.
I would do it myself, but for two reasons:
1. My present computer isn't fit for any heavy-duty audio work, and an upgrade may not be forthcoming anytime soon.
2. Even if I were to upgrade it, the learning curve on that process is such that I'd rather save it for future projects than wait on myself this time.
I'm probably moving in late April.
