hey. I have been using a boss multitrack to record now for about a year and have decided tochange over and purchase an audio interface,most likely the UA-101 (edirol). I know little about recording, but realise i can record through this into my pc (cubase). The UA is a 10 input device, does this mean i can record 10 instruments at once. why are only two of the chanels XlR compatible and not all?. basilcy I want to be able to record a 5-6 piece band all at once. is this capable of that. The reason I ask these obviously basic questions is because the companies that make equipment,like this, dont really explain for a beginer. if anyone could help me on this subject it would be greatly appreciated.
