I've been looking around at something so I could use a computer as a DAW and I've some between the Q10 or Edirol DA-2496.
I really like the Q10 because I really don't intend to use a mixer for now just this and spme preamps. The Q10 is about $750 even on ebay but I found the Edirol DA-2496 for 500 bucks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...&category=41784
Which Should I choose?
Only 2 on the DA-2496 have phantom power vs. the Q10's 4 inputs.
Q10 has all XLR/1/4" inputs and the 2496 only has 1/2" w/ 2 xlr's
Q10 has cakewalk 9 w/ it...2496 some w/o anything
