well, another collage type sound, and as most know, for me to get the instruments out, hit the red button, and post, is a monumentous achievement. enjoy, or not.

crap, mix, I sold my banjo last year, it went back home to the dude I got it from. But he is already on the lookout for another for me.

Tune the guitar!
, sorry mang, more than likely some out, being in Dadgad on the guitars, or maybe the mando is just wrong. And could be lotsa open string overtones on both accounts. My ears hear it pretty much in tune, but that's my ears sometimes too.

I had a Deering Goodtime...closed back. If you can get over the look of it..mainly the peghead and/or color, they're great banjos at a low price point, especially used. I have a Deering Sierra that is a big step up from it, but the Goodtime played great and fun for walking around outdoors with it, if you didn't want your "good" banjo at those times.

My pal has, and has had a few very old small open back jos, which are very quiet, easy to play, and just very fun to have, he's thinking he'll be running into one soon, and is giving me first crack at it.
