Easy Drun add-ons

I'm looking for the best bang for the buck for a easy digital drum add-on for my Pro-Tools DAW. I'm not looking for something that has tons of extras that I don't need. I'm a country songwriter that's more interested in writing than recording. But I have to get my music out there so I need a decent basic demo to play around.

What are most people using?

has anyone used Steve Slate Drums? It came as a freeby with my pro-tools but I haven't used it...seems hard? Can anyone give any feedback who's used it?
