I have recently switched from protools to cubase. I find that sometimes even the most simple of tasks are a bit hard to figure out on cubase (or maybe its just me). On protools, I was able to draw volume and panning in using lines on the audio tracks I wanted but I have not figured out how to do this on cubase. Can anyone help me with this problem which I am sure is simple and I am just overlooking something obvious. Also, on protools I could highlight a bit of an audio track and then apply an effect on what I selected leaving the rest of the track unaffected. Is this possible to do on cubase? If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks
