E-drum need advice please

HI
I am a new kid in the block, I am not a drummer but have some rythem and music sense. Is Ronald spd 6 good for a starter. I am planning to buy a used one. Is it good to create tracks. Any suggestions??

I own an SPD-6 which I use with my live accoustic kit to add percussion sounds. The sounds on this machine are fair but not great.

If you're buying it used I suspect you're not paymore more than $100-$150 and for that price it would not be a bad way to put done some drums tracks. It does have MIDI out, so you could trigger other sounds at some point if you feel the on boards sounds don't work for you.

I've never regretted getting my SPD-6

In fact I never tried anything like this before. Now atleast I have some confidence. I might need some more feed back down the road as I start using it.
