I am looking into obtaining an e-drum kit for my studio. Any recommendations on which makes and models to get and which to stay away from?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Does the DDrum unit include a triggering solution or would that just cover the drum module? Thanks!!Tim Brown said:Well, of these two drummers, who do you think has the better sound.
Hellhammer of Mayhem & The Kovenant.
Nicholas Barker formerly of Dimmu Borgir.
Hellhammer uses a ddrum4 unit.
Nicholas Barker uses a TDM10 (TDM8 is a scaled down version of it - the drums essentially sound the same, the 10 just has better cymbal sounds, and a little more control over the parameters you can use.)
I use a ddrum2 unit, and it essentially sounds like a drumkit. the Vdrum sounds more electronic to me....but that may work better for you, I don't know.
I know Pete Sandoval, the drummer from Morbid Angel, uses a ddrum unit as well.

Either way that guy is SICK. It' like just when you think he's doing the fastest double bass you've ever heard, he'll double time it. He's insane.
