Dumb stereo recording question

Richard gets my vote for best response to this thread (I like it even better than mine!)
 
If he decides to use the fatheads many of the suggested micing techniques won't be the same or in some cases work.(the xy will be a blumlein) Nothing wrong with a blumlein just something that should be noted.

They have a pair of them at that studio I've been working at. What do you want them reviewed on drums, guitar, acoustic guitar?
or just general. I can write something up and get some samples when I have a chance.
