what do you guys think of this mix? its my first attempt to blend genre's.

Its very muddy and mono sounding to me...the guitars, kick and bass, are taking up all the same frequencies, even with panning its not separating enough..

There are moments when the bass drops out that it sounds better but overall I find it a bit flat, sorry

I think this will need a lot more tweaking to get it all to sit right...without sorting out that separation its hard to say what else, though I found the drums a bit detached from the rest of the tune as well, too much reverb when everything else is up front

I thought the synths and drum machine sounded pretty good, though the "wicky-wack" record scratching thing is a pretty tired cliche.

The rhythm guitars were pretty muddy. The lead sounded decent.

Youtube's probably not the best way to showcase this stuff.

More panning on the guitars will help the mix. As someone else pointed, sometimes you perceive your mix as a mono track.

Dude... I really like the concept. Enjoyed the song all the way through. As others have said, the mix is by far in need of most help, but man.. Keep it up! Everything else is awesome.
