Look Mom, I can play!
I am just about to jump in the deep and and make my computer a dual boot system. I will have win 98 with all my business/family stuff on it and then win xp with Home Studio 2002 (Sonar Lite).
I have a PII 400 meg with 760meg Ram. I have a creative dvd cd player and a ricoh cd burner. I have 2 drives, both 7600rpm and one is 10meg and the other 20meg. I also have a soundblaster Live! Platignum sound card and a spare soundblaster AWE 64 Gold soundcard.
I am looking for some advice how to configure the hard drives and the o/s. Should I put both o/s on the same drive or should I use one h/d for xp/music and the other for win 98 and all the other stuff? And how should I connect the hard discs and the two cd's? One hard disc and one cd on each loom or both hard discs on one and both cd's on the other?
I will use Partion Magic 7.0 to perform the partitioning, I hear good reviews of that software.
