I have never used compression ever on anything. I'm not new to beats, about two years doin my thang. but i always figured that was part of mastering, and I thought I would need real decent monitors...??? just got some 200$ speaker system, sounds good to me tho. Someone please explain this. What plug-ins ya'll using? Any that are easy to learn with? Do Ya'll use compression before mixing and of course mastering? Link me some some answers, what ya'll mean buy 2:1?
