What types of verbs are you guys using on your "snare"/ "Tom" Tracks? I record alot of hard rock/metal and I just can't seem to get the verb on drums to sound like I want it to. I realize that alot of the great drum sounds result from drums recorded in incredible rooms with room mics.
Do you like plates/ rooms? Im working with mostly Waves plugins and I can't seem to find the sound that im hearing in my head. Any thoughts? I know there is no right answer and it always depends, but what do you guys like?
