Drum Test

This is one of my first times recording drums, I used the recordman technique with an added snare mic. Please critique them for me. It is labeled Drum Test.

Sounds pretty good for dry drums.
That cymbal seemed a little too present though.
How close did you mic it?
Sounds like you are recording in a decent room too.
That always helps.
But next time post any mp3 stuff in the clinic.

The kick had a mic inside of it, it was an AT Pro 25. The snare mic was a sm57, about an inch and a half away pointed at the center of it. Then the overheads were exactly the way recorderman's technique explains, two drumsticks stright over snare, two drumsticks over the drummer's shoulder from the snare. This is actually my actual bedroom.

Oh, and when you say dry, do you mean it could benefit from reverb and compression?

Dry meaning it has no reverb or eq on them.
Or does it?

It has compression, but no eq or reverb
