Drum Set up

Im not new to this website so im not sure if studio building and display is the right category for this....but im trying to record drums with 6 mics, then running them through a mixer and than into my mbox 2 which has only 2 inputs. It works but i dont have much control over the individual mics after i record them, is there any other options besides cramming what should be 6 tracks into 2?

"Computer Recording and Soundcards" or "Newbie" would be better for this. You need a new interface you allow all the channels you need. The Alesis Multimix 8 firewire is probably the cheapest decent 8 channel interface you could find. But i suspect you are looking for something compatible with protools. For that you need something from m-audio or digidesign.
