Ello :D

Anybody know where I can get some free drum samples? Money's tight and I
can't afford em. I've seen a few sites around that have some really good ones,
but they give you like 5 free and then start charging.

I'm looking to make patches in Reason with the NN-XT and layer them using
velocity, so that I can actually change the velocity (not just volume) within
Pro Tools.

Are you looking for single hits? or loops? My digi package came with a CD of audio samples and loops. I haven't really checked it out, but maybe I can zip and upload some stuff for you. Not sure if it's legal to do that or not. I'll look into it.

Yeah I'm looking for single hits. Kicks, snares, cymbals, toms etc.

It's nothing but loops man. You want loops? LOL

I can cut them up and try to make you some single hits :D

Seriously - I've picked up nearly 1GB of free samples from other forums and sites online with a little searching. Try a few different terms "free drum samples" "free rock drum samples" "free kick samples" etc. and within a few clicks, you'll be golden.
 
Steven Slate just put one of his sets up for like $20.00 probably as cheap as it can get for some great sounding samples. Google it
