drum programs for pc keyboard

I'm not even sure if this is around but here is what i'm looking for. I'm looking for a way to make some basic drum beats for fun to play guitar to using my pc keyboard. Is there any freeware or cheap programs that can do this? Didn't find anything in the archives so I was wondering about this.
 
there's back to basics9 for windows or mac for $30. there's multiwave you can get for a donation. there's the new soundplant that's free. I made a l-shaped computer keyboard with 22 keys to trigger drum sounds. eventually hope to create my own homemade electronic drum kit.

look there...I remember playing with a program called leaf drums...it was sort of dumb...but probably good enough for what you're talking about.

if I were you though...I'd seriously consider buying FruityLoops, it's a GREAT PC program...much much more than a drum machine, yet the best one for the PC...best pattern sequencer EVER...I love it...I even made a whole sideproject using nothing but default fruityloops sounds (which are awful) www.mp3.com/eight_transistor
