I run a "14 channel" mackie mixing board for my drum mics and then send one signal to the main PA and the other side to a 200 watt bass amp with two 15"BW in it. I cant get the low end thump in the monitor I want and have looked at the mackie powered SM450's. Has anyone tried them as a straight drum monitor? The store swears they will handle the kick drum but I have my doubts.
