Drum Machines

I am using an Alesis Sr16 at the moment and find the drum sounds crap. Its also hard to programme. Can anyone recommend an idiot proof drum machine, or is there such a thing?

Thats about as idiot proof as they come. Maybe a MPC1000?(its a sampler though)

I've been using Fruity Loops for years. It's dosn't sound as good as I would like it to, but it's easy as hell if you're willing to go for the computer program insted of real hardware.
