Drum loops using Logic Silver

I am using Logic Silver and a JV-1010 sound module.When I create a drum phrase and try to loop it,there is a pause at the end of the phrase and the beginning of the loop.The pause is only a half a second but it is very noticable.I checked the score window and there is no "rest" sign at the end of the phrase or the biginning of the phrase.The phrase is in 4/4 time and there is only 4 quarter notes in each bar.I start the phrase on a bass drum down beat and end the phrase with a snare on the unaccented down beat.I don't know what is wrong,any help?

I'm guessing you are doing a midi loop and not audio. Check the event list on the loop and make sure you are not sending any program changes or anything that might cause a hiccup.

Yes I am looping MIDI.I will check the event list, that is a good idea.Thanks,
