Drum Isolation Room Question

Hey all,

Quick question for those with a sound isolated room, particularly for drummers like myself: How far outside of the drum room do you hear the drums?

My main concern would be if I HAD to build the room on the same level as my main TV/Hangout room, is that it would bother the other people in the house. Obviously the farther away we can get the TV the better, but if it HAD to be on the same floor, how far from the drum room can you hear it? Thats one thing in a lot of the isolation room videos that hasnt come across well.

My drum room is a room inside a room with a double door and insulated but not much sound proofing beyond that. Sitting inside the control room you can "hear" the drummer playing but it's GREATLY attenuated.
