Hi everyone,
This is my first post. I could use some advice on where to place these acoustic panels as drum clouds. Everything will be removable so if I want more room I can just take them off. I read that it's not recommended to put the clouds right next to each other and that a gap of say 20 cm is better. However, I fear that'll just create a reflection point right where I don't want it, right above the drum kit. So I was wondering if you could help me decide where to hang them and in what orientation.
This is my bedroom and the drumkit is yet to be set up by my friend who owns it. The two panels that are not in the corner are just leaning against the wall and are easily movable and stackable.
I'm planning to record the kit with three mics
I'm mainly looking for advice on the cloud placement, but any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.
I have added photos to this post that you should hopefully be able to see.
Regards,
