Dropouts??

I recorded drums a few days ago.
When I listen to one of the overheads i keep hearing dropouts.
Is there any way to fix this or is it just a waste of time?

What are you listening to it on? Is it a computer problem? Did you record straight onto vinyl? Are you suffering from intermittent hysterical deafness? You gotta give more details, or nobody will be able to give you a good answer.

The volume level suddenly falls.
Its the first time I encountered this problem.
At first I thought it was phasing but it happens also when i play the track alone.

Rerecord and check your cables.
